Returning to one of my favorite places…
Wisconsin is always a wonderful place to photograph weddings, it sort of feels like home at times too.
I’ve been fortunate to come back many times and photograph some amazing couples.
Michael & Macy were at the wedding I initially first photographed back in 2017, and had their wedding at the same place as well too.
So to me, almost 10 years later coming back, definitely felt bittersweet. Back to where it all began.
Perhaps one of my favorite things was feeling instantly like part of the friend group, like we had all known each other for years and just decided to meet up again for a big party. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t leave a piece of me in Madison when leaving the next day.
